Akon Has Gone Country

Akon has revealed that he has recorded a country album under an alias. Supposedly, he wants to be the first black artist to conquer this music genre. Akon has confessed that he is a huge country and western music fan and definitely knows that he probably would not be able to sell the record under his name.

Also, while on "The Hook Up at BBC 1Xtra Live", he announced that he's already gotten his first hit country tune.

Well I be damn. I guess everybody is going country. Now all we need Akon to do is get a reality show and then we will know his career is officially over.
